  • You must be the author.
  • Articles must be original content and may not use information in whole or in part, published by other authors or contained on other websites.   References to creative commons images and video’s is encouraged but be sure to reference any image you use and provide a link back to the original source.
  • The article must be relevant to our readership.  For example: Building Materials, Electrical, Energy Audits, Home Health, Home Inspections, Home Maintenance Tips, How To’s, Mold, Mortgages, New Construction, Plumbing, Radon, Real Estate (buying or selling), Remodeling, Roofing, Structural, Thermal Imaging, etc.)  Basically anything as it relates to the home and building industries.
  • Recommended length of post should be 200-400 words.
  • Must be well written, check spelling, inform and educate homeowners and help increase the knowledge of all the professionals that service our industry.
  • The article cannot be self promotional.  Links to a blog/site can be provided in the article as long as it is relevant to the subject matter. We recommend 2 external links so don't push your luck.  Article content will be reviewed and approved by our staff prior to publishing.
